The Greatest Change of All
The fall semester will be over in 2 weeks... Austin is still struggling... pretend he's not feeling well in the morning so he didn't have to go to school... shedding a few tears when mamma hands him over to the teacher... refuse to speak English... refuse to sing and dance in school... and still rather play by himself...
This week, his teacher asked mamma to talk to him about running around the classroom while other kids are all sitting down in a circle. He gets a kick out of watching his teachers chase him around the classroom! Mamma's not really surprised because she needs to chase him every morning trying to get him dressed! Even when he was younger, he runs off and hides when he poops so mamma wouldn't have time to put him on the potty!
But his teacher also informed mamma that he would run off and lay down on the table while other kids are sitting down. Why he does that?? Mamma has no clue! But she couldn't stop laughing about it, even though he IS disturbing the class by creating a scene, and causing the teachers headaches!
... Until this weekend, she laughs no more...
Ever since Austin was born, mamma is used to Austin clinging on to her leg, holding on like a koala, or at least holding hands! But when she took Austin to a new home accessory store, which just opened this weekend, he ran and ran and ran............ away from his mamma! He ran like crazy though the good size store, not looking back! He is no longer clinging on, no longer afraid of loosing sight of his mamma, no longer afraid of getting lost, and finally letting go! Daddy and mamma had their exercise of the month chasing him around the store!
It's time to get a leash!

好像是學校給了Austin勇氣這樣跑跑跑... 只要不被壞人帶走,我想漸漸獨立真好! 想想以前哪敢在班上攪局啊~ 我其實覺得這種小孩學習能力比較好...當然還是要養成合群的精神啦~ 馬麻妳的鞋子要換一雙了...可以一跑就飛起來的那種...

Luckly, he's in preschool! And his preschool teachers dare not even raise their voices at the kids. So he remains doing what he does in class! Just wait til he gets to elementary school! Wonder how the teachers would react?
And until I could find me a pair of shoes with wings, a leash will do!
wow.. that's really tiring to chase around. Have you tried talking to him?

Not only me, his teacher has to chase him around too! When I talked to him, he says "ok"! But he still runs around!
